Two Snowmobilers Cause Serious Injuries

Over the last weekend in February, two snowmobilers were allegedly riding on the wrong side of the trail, and forced another snowmobiler off of the trail. He lost control and went into the trees. The injured man became pinned between his rented snowmobile and a tree, and sustained serious injuries. He was apparently rounding a corner when he ran almost head-on into the two snowmobilers.

The Fish and Game officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying these snowmobilers. One snowmobile was a yellow Ski-doo model, and the other was a dark color.

It is important to realize that personal injuries can happen anywhere, at any time. These two snowmobilers will likely be liable for the other rider’s injuries because they were riding on the wrong side of the trail at the time of the accident. It looks even worse that they just left the injured man there and did not offer any assistance.

If you are involved in an accident, of any kind, always stay to help authorities and offer aid. Offering aid can be as simple as calling the police and reporting the injury.
