Dylan Takores is a litigation and civil trial attorney. He exclusively represents individuals who have sustained injuries and losses due to the negligence of others.
Mr. Takores guides his clients through the complexities of the civil justice system and proudly serves as their voice both in and out of the courtroom. He believes that the best way to advocate for his clients is to prepare every case with litigation and trial in mind. By following this principle, Mr. Takores is able to advise his clients and effectuate the best potential outcome in accordance with the client’s goals and desires.
Mr. Takores began his legal career as a clerk in the courtrooms of the New Haven Superior Court. After gaining foundational knowledge of the Connecticut civil justice system, he transitioned to private practice and spent the next several years at plaintiff’s personal injury firms.
Mr. Takores then worked as an insurance defense attorney for a large national insurance company. In that capacity, he represented defendants in automobile negligence, premises liability, and dog bite cases. He served as lead attorney in dozens of cases which reached verdict before the juries and judges of the Connecticut Superior Courts.
After several years of representing defendants, Mr. Takores joined the trial team at Walsh Woodard, to return to his true passion of seeking justice for plaintiffs in personal injury cases. He possesses unique knowledge and first-hand experience of how insurance companies evaluate and defend cases. He utilizes this knowledge on a daily basis to effectively advocate for his clients. Mr. Takores’ primary areas of practice include medical malpractice, automobile negligence, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, and premises liability.
Mr. Takores resides in Cheshire with his family.

Mr. Takores was admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut in 2014 and the Federal District Court of Connecticut in 2017.
Education
Mr. Takores is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. During law school, he prioritized trial advocacy classes. He also served as a Reporter and Editor of the Impunity Watch Law Journal as well as Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Prior to law school, Mr. Takores graduated cum laude with a B.A. in philosophy from The College of Wooster, where he received departmental honors and was inducted into the Phi Sigma Tau honor society.
