Dylan Takores is an experienced attorney that represents plaintiffs in a wide range of personal injury cases including automobile negligence, premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, and medical malpractice as well as legal malpractice matters.
Mr. Takores was admitted to the State of Connecticut Bar in 2014. He was also admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of Connecticut in 2017.
Prior to joining Walsh Woodard, Mr. Takores worked for many years as an insurance defense attorney for a large national insurance company. In that capacity, Mr. Takores represented defendants in automobile negligence, premises liability, and dog bite cases. He tried dozens of cases to verdict before the juries and judges of the Connecticut Superior Courts.
Mr. Takores also previously worked for several years at two other law firms representing plaintiffs in personal injury and workers compensation cases. Prior to joining private practice, Mr. Takores served as a clerk at the New Haven Superior Court in the civil, criminal, family, and family support magistrate divisions.
Mr. Takores is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. While at Syracuse, he served as a Reporter and Editor of the Impunity Watch Law Journal as well as Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in philosophy from The College of Wooster, where he received departmental honors and was inducted into the Phi Sigma Tau honor society.
Mr. Takores is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He resides in South Windsor with his wife, two children, and pets.
