Attorney Woodard Inducted Into International Academy of Trial Lawyers

In August 2024, Attorney D. Lincoln Woodard was formally inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), an exclusive fellowship of top trial attorneys that works across the globe to protect and promote the Rule of Law.

Founded in 1954, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers describes itself as “a fellowship of the best trial lawyers as measured by skill, experience, ethics, and civility.” Membership in the IATL is by invitation only and limited to just 500 trial attorneys in the United States. There are currently over 150 IATL Fellows across 40 countries.

In order to gain induction, Attorney Woodard was rigorously evaluated through a vetting process that takes into account professional accomplishments and ethics as reported by judges, opposing counsel and colleagues.

“I’m honored to be an IATL Fellow, and particularly humbled by my colleagues on the bar and bench who contributed their time and professional feedback to the IATL’s vetting process,” said attorney Woodard. “The IATL embodies the high standards of advocacy and ethics that I’ve worked hard to achieve throughout my career, and this moment speaks to Walsh Woodard’s commitment to professionalism and zealous advocacy for our clients.”
